The partnership, announced on January 16, 2025, highlights Kimberly School District’s dedication to student safety and their commitment to adopting innovative safety solutions for school buses. “Illegally passing a stopped school bus is on the rise nationally, and motorists breaking this law put students’ lives at risk every day,” shared Matthew Searby, Transportation Director for Kimberly School District.
“Kimberly School District is very excited to be working with First Light and the Idaho Department of Education on testing solutions to keep our students safe and to see what the future of school bus safety in Idaho could be.”
